Lattanzi revealed that two weeks after Newton-John’s passing, her phone accidentally took a picture of her dog, and in the photo, there was a little blue orb floating near the dog’s head. This orb was the same color as an aquamarine necklace that Lattanzi was wearing, a pendant that had been given to Newton-John by her husband, John Easterling, and then passed down to Lattanzi. Lattanzi explained that she had previously asked her mother to “show up” for her, and Newton-John had mentioned that she would appear as one of those orb-like entities. Easterling also had a similar experience when he visited Peru to scatter Newton-John’s ashes on their 15th wedding anniversary. Easterling took a picture, and there was a blue orb between his eyes. He described the past year as “supernatural.” Newton-John’s death resulted in widespread grief, with a private funeral held in California and a state funeral in Melbourne. Lattanzi and Easterling will be participating in the annual Olivia’s Walk for Wellness, an event that raises funds for cancer research, to honor Newton-John’s legacy.
