The Oscars 2024, Hollywood’s biggest movie event of the year, saw actors from all over the world flock to the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to celebrate this year’s best movies.

The night did not upset, shocking and wowing audience members and viewers at home as some of the most famous A-listers took home awards.

Many believed Oppenehimer would win big, and out of all its impressive contenders, including The Holdovers, Maestro, Killers of the Flower Moon, Poor Things and Barbie, it did, winning in big categories like Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Director, which went to Cillian Murphy and Christopher Nolan respectively.

The film was nominated for 14 awards and walked away with half, but some viewers believed the Best Picture winning moment was ‘ruined’ by Al Pacino’s lacklustre announcement.

Emma Stone also shockingly won for Best Actress for Poor Things, which was another big winner of the night.

Here is a full list of the winners.
