And if reports are to be believed two OTTs are fighting it out to get their hands on the next Bobby Deol film, which has been in cans for a year now. The film we are talking about is called Penthouse, directed by Abbas-Mustan, which is inspired by a Belgium film called Loft.The story revolves around 5 married men who own a penthouse, which is used to meet their mistresses. Things take a bad turn when a dead woman’s body is found there.

Coming back to the film, it was initially backed by Netflix, but suddenly they dropped the film and it was nowhere to be seen in their slate. Soon rumours began to float around that the platform wanted the makers to extend Bobby’s role but the director duo were not on the same page. So after Netflix, producer Sunil Khetarpal took the film to Jio Studios who really enjoyed the film and were keen on taking it up, but only if the makers could increase the roles of Bobby Deol, Arjun Rampal and Sharman Joshi. The director complied this time.
Now as per a report in BollywoodLife, it is being said that the original platform has reached out to producer Sunil Khetarpal to check if they can rework the contract and have the film back with them. Only time will tell where the film finally streams.
