Owen Hargreaves has told West Ham United manager David Moyes exactly who he needs to sign in the January transfer window.
West Ham manager David Moyes should be going all out to sign a top-class ‘number 9’ in January, according to Owen Hargreaves.

Moyes has been linked with a big money move to sign £50 million-rated Ivan Toney this winter (Football London).
The Hammers boss has built a really strong squad of players at the London Stadium, but he missed out on a move to sign Toney, 27, last January.
The Brentford striker was banned from playing for eight months back in May and fined £50,000, after admitting 232 breaches of the Football Association’s betting rules (Sky Sports).
He won’t be able to play again until January 16th, but Hargreaves reckons he would be absolutely perfect for the Hammers…

Owen Hargreaves tells Moyes he needs to sign Premier League striker to complete West Ham
The football pundit and former player has been speaking about Brentford hitman Ivan Toney’s future.
And he suggested that the 27-year-old should be a prime target for the Hammers in the January transfer window, when talking to Premier League Productions (October 22nd, 7:10 pm):
“Ivan Toney is the one who screams out. Benrahma can play off the left. Kudus can play off one of those wide areas. I think Moyes has got the players. Maybe get a Toney in, if you could. But I just think you have to get Kudus in the side, then allow Paqueta to play central. He is easily their best player.”
The powerful striker has bagged an impressive 68 goals and 21 assists in 124 games for Brentford (Transfermarkt).
Toney is a target man type striker, but he’s far more mobile than the likes of Gianluca Scamacca and Sebastien Haller – two forwards who failed miserably during their stints at the London Stadium.
The Brentford ace is an elite finisher and got the best of every single centre-back in the Premier League last season from a physical perspective.
Toney is apparently keen to leave Brentford in January (The Sun), with a whole host of top Premier League clubs thought to be keen on signing him.
Owen Hargreaves thinks he’d be perfect for West Ham, and I agree with him. However, I just can’t envisage a scenario whereby we’ll pay £50 million to sign him this winter.
