A woman allegedly ran her partner down before crashing into a home in Sydney’s west on Tuesday.
The 44-year-old woman was allegedly driving a vehicle that struck a pedestrian, understood to be her partner, before crashing into a house on Sciberras Avenue in Schofields about 3pm.
A 38-year-old man sustained serious injuries. He was treated by paramedics at the scene, then transported to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

The woman was also injured in the incident.
She was arrested before being taken to Blacktown Hospital in a stable condition.
The 44-year-old woman has been charged with intent to murder over the crash.

The woman was released from hospital on Wednesday and formally charged with causing wounding/grievous bodily harm to a person with intent to murder (DV) and causing grievous bodily harm to a person with intent (DV).
She appeared in Blacktown Local Court on Wednesday, where she was formally refused bail.
She will appear in Penrith Local Court on October 6.
