Popular Father’s Day gift sold to thousands urgently recalled: ‘Burns and lacerations’

A popular gift has been recalled over fears of injury if used.

A black mug with the slogan “Super Dad” and a similar blue one saying “My favourite child gave me this mug” have both been recalled because they could crack and break when filled with hot liquid.

Product Safety Australia advises there is a risk from burns and lacerations from sharp edges if the mugs break during use.
