She described him as the smartest and happiest little boy she had ever known and believed he would go on to do amazing things. Ferguson lamented the loss of her son, saying that her heart was broken and shattered. In early July, Ferguson had initially revealed that her son was in the ICU, but she did not provide any details about what had happened. In her most recent post, she expressed her disbelief and questioned why her child was taken from her. She described the pain of losing a child as unbearable and shared that her family remained in shock. Ferguson ended her post by saying that her son will always be loved and remembered.
