The Porsche Taycan facelift is offered in two variants – the Taycan 4S II priced at Rs 1.89 crores and the Taycan Turbo II priced at Rs Rs 2.53 crores (both prices ex-showroom).Talking about the exterior updates, the Taycan gets re-designed front bumpers and sleeker air vents.
It now boasts HD Matrix-LED lights that are a bit flat. However, it still gets the outgoing model’s four-point DRL design. The Turbo model additionally gets exclusive Turbonite painted design elements. Moving rear, it also gets an illuminated Porsche logo and is placed beneath a clear panel. The 21-inch alloy wheels also get a complete re-design with more aerodynamics and are wrapped up with low-resistance tyres.
Moving inside, it gets the same interior layout with minor cosmetic changes and the company has also introduced two new leather-free interior upholstery options. It continues to get a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 16.8-inch fully digital driver’s display and also the passenger’s display which is optional. The infotainment system gets a new user interface and the digital cluster gets a new theme and additional functionality. The infotainment system and the passenger’s display now also support video streaming.
In terms of features, the Taycan gets four-zone AC, an air purifier, ambient lighting, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, a heads-up display, 14-way electrically adjustable front seats, heated seats and steering wheel, wireless phone charging, type-C ports, driving mode button and more.

Safety-wise, it gets six airbags, ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, active speed limit assist, driver drowsiness detection, parking assistance with a reverse camera, ISOFIX child seat mounts, TPMS and more. The Turbo model additionally gets an active bonnet which raises the rear portion of the bonnet to reduce the crash impact when the front sensors detect a crash.
Talking about the powertrain and battery, the Taycan 4S and Turbo get a dual-motor set-up. The 4S puts out 537 bhp and 695 Nm of torque with launch control active. The Turbo produces 872 bhp and 890 Nm of peak output. The Turbo also gets the larger 105 kWh Performance Plus battery pack as standard. The 4S is powered by a smaller 89 kWh unit, but interested customers can opt for a Performance Plus battery.
Porsche claims that the Turbo model can sprint from 0-100 kph in 2.7 seconds and the 4S takes 3.7 seconds. The 4S has an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph and the Turbo has a top speed of 260 kmph. The 4S has claimed range of 642 km with the Performance Plus battery and the the Turbo has claimed range of 630 km.
