Well, recently, Porsche has responded in style as the manufacturer’s test driver Lars Kern achieved an impressive lap time of 7:07.55 for a new top-of-the-line Porsche Taycan version on the challenging Nürburgring track.In comparison, the Tesla Model S Plaid set a time of 7:25:31 back in June. This means that the German marque toppled the lap time set by the fastest Tesla EV by over 17 seconds.
Anticipated as the upcoming flagship model, the Taycan Turbo GT showcases changes to its headlamps and front bumper, along with the addition of a large rear wing. While Porsche has not released specific technical details, estimations suggest the Taycan Turbo GT could generate nearly 1,000 hp.

Also, recently the Porsche Taycan has achieved a notable feat, securing the first-ever electric vehicle lap record at India’s Buddh International Circuit. The EV completed the 5.125km circuit in an impressive time of 2 minutes and 10.313 seconds.
