Prince Harry King Charles: Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, a member of the British royal family and the younger son of King Charles III has declined an invitation from his father King Charles to stay at a Royal residence during his visit to the United Kingdom as he suggested that his father was “too busy to meet him”.

These details have been disclosed by The Telegraph which learned that Prince Harry declined the invitation due to security concerns as he spent three nights in London for the Invictus Games’ 10th anniversary but did not see the King.

However, it was reported that earlier he met with his father during the visit and ultimately both got engaged in separate programs.

The Telegraph further reported that Charles allowed Harry to stay at a Royal residence since he no longer had an official UK home. However, he declined due to a lack of security and went to a hotel to maintain privacy.

Meanwhile, other reports say that Prince Harry turned down a meeting with King Charles because of security concerns adding that the father and son who have not seen each other since February, did not meet because of the King’s busy schedule and now it has been claimed that it was a result of Harry’s particular security requests.

Royal residences are heavily protected with armed officers at the gates. However, the Duke of Sussex was mainly concerned about his security outside these properties and was upset about losing his automatic police protection, which hampers reconciliation with his father, according to The Telegraph.

In February, Harry was given a police escort from Heathrow to Clarence House to meet his 75-year-old father King Charles after the monarch had been diagnosed with cancer.

Harry feels he can’t bring his wife and kids to the UK because he can’t ensure their safety. He is frustrated that his offer to pay for his own security was rejected, reported The Telegraph.
