NEW DELHI: Quetta Gladiators clinched a playoff spot in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) after a thrilling last-ball victory against Lahore Qalandars on Sunday.
Mohammad Wasim‘s heroics, smashing Shaheen Shah Afridi for a six off the final delivery, propelled Quetta to a six-wicket win, ending their four-year playoff drought.
Lahore Qalandars, two-time defending champions, endured a disappointing season, managing just one win in 10 league games, ending their campaign at the bottom of the table.
