A video from Russian state TV shows Putin driving a black armored Aurus, which is also his official presidential car, with Kim Jong Un in the passenger seat. Putin had given Kim his first Aurus limousine in February, so Kim now owns at least two of these vehicles.
Aurus Senat: Engine and specs
Now, speaking about the Aurus, the sedan comes in three versions: Standard Senat, Senat Long, and Senat Limousine. It is fully armoured and employs a hybrid 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that pumps out an impressive 598 hp and 880 Nm of peak torque.

While the specific features of Kim Jong Un’s new ride cannot be confirmed, it is expected to be an armoured vehicle, similar to those used by several world leaders including Putin himself. The Aurus features ADAS, emergency braking system, emergency call support, 8 modes of back LED lighting, wireless phone charger, Wifi among other amenities.
Aurus Motors started manufacturing its cars in Russia’s Tatarstan region in 2021. Last month, a senior Russian official announced that production of Aurus cars would also begin at a former Toyota factory in St. Petersburg this year.
