In an exclusive interview with ETimes, the actor opens up on the compliments he’s been receiving for his acting in the film, especially from Vicky Kaushal.He said, “ The industry’s response has been so great , be it the actors, directors, everyone. Vicky Kaushal Bhai loved the film and my performance so much, that he spent one hour with me asking me about how I prepared for the film, and how I could be so impulsive in my portrayal. And I just didn’t know how to answer him, because I just went and did what the script said. Even now when I see myself on the screen.. I feel very off. I cannot see myself performing. “
“Even Anurag Kashyap sir reached out saying ‘Maine picture dekhi tune phod diya,” and I replied to him saying,’Mujhe picture mein phoda gaya hai ( laughs)’ and he replied saying he’s in Lucknow shooting and will meet me when he’s back in town. This was a big achiement for me that Anurag sir is saying such things,” he added.
Everyone has known Raghav as the funny guy on television, and the role of Fani in Kill has been a huge change for him. Talking about it Raghav said , “ I know that I’m a good actor, and when I got an audition call for the film, I knew that this will open many doors for me as an actor. And as a character, Fani had a lot of space for performance and I just went all guns blazing. “
