The Diavel V4 is powered by the same 1,158cc, liquid-cooled, V4 Granturismo engine like its sibling, the Multistrada. The powerful mill is mated to a six-speed gearbox, which boasts of bi-directional quickshifting. The manufacturer has tuned the engine to produce 168 hp and 126 Nm of peak torque.
The motorcycle gets three power modes along with four riding modes, namely, Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet.
Talking about the hardware, the motorcycle boasts 50mm USD front forks and monoshock unit at rear, both fully adjustable. Braking duties are performed by double 330mm discs and monobloc calipers at the front, accompanied by a single disc at the rear. It rides on 17-inch, two-tone alloy wheels wrapped in Diablo Rosso III tyres.

On the design front, the motorcycle gets horseshoe-shaped LED DRLs cornering the redesigned headlamps, multi-point LED tail lamp under the tail, integrated front flashers, and a unique, muscular quad exhaust system, adding to its overall muscular appeal.
Additionally, the Diavel V4 features a 5-inch TFT screen displaying various riding aids such as power modes, riding modes. Ducati has also equipped the motorcycle with the latest-gen 6-axis IMU-based functionalities including cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, power launch, quickshifter, and cruise control.
