Release Schedule for Season 2 Episodes of ‘And Just Like That…’ on HBO Max

And Just Like That…, the women of Sex and the City are officially back in our lives! It’s been 24 years since we first saw Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) walking the streets of New York in her white tutu and heels, but now she and her girls are back like never before.

The series reboot follows Carrie and her friends Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) as they navigate their 50s. Of course, things aren’t the same without Kim Cattrall in the cast full-time as the iconic Samantha Jones, who brought a lot of the sex in the city, but it’s still exciting to see the gals in this totally different stage of their lives, and we do have a Kim cameo to look forward to, apparently.

Since the revival aired its first season in December 2021, there have been mixed reviews from fans (because WHY didn’t Carrie call 911??). But the addition of new characters, like Sara Ramírez’s Che Diaz, the show’s first non-binary role, has brought the series into today’s culture and certainly kept things interesting. And the miniseries is not so mini anymore, having returned for season 2.

Here’s everything you need to know about the coming And Just Like That… episodes.

When do new And Just Like That… episodes come out? Where can I watch them?

The show premiered its first two episodes on Thursday, June 22, and this season has 11 episodes total. New individual episodes drop at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET every Thursday until the end of the season. So that means the release schedule is…

  • June 22: Episodes 1, “MET Cute”: While Carrie questions whether she’s ready for more than a casual fling, Miranda starts to worry her relationship with Che is only about sex. And “The Real Deal”: Carrie struggles with a podcast ad script; Charlotte tries to retrieve Lily’s designer clothes; chaos ensues when Miranda loses her phone.
  • June 29: Episode 3, appropriately titled “Chapter Three”: Carrie conjures a spur of the moment excuse to get out of an emotional audiobook taping. Charlotte and Lisa try to get their hands on a “MILF” list.
  • July 6: Episode 4, “ALIVE!”: Carrie gets an offer to write a column for seniors. Charlotte and Lisa celebrate the start of summer camp. Miranda navigates life back in NYC.
  • July 13: Episode 5, “Trick or Treat”: Carrie has a run-in with a tech entrepreneur. Miranda and Che navigate conflicting schedules. Charlotte veers into stage mom territory.
  • July 20: Episode 6, “Bomb Cyclone”: Carrie asks Che to be her moral support at a conference for widows. Miranda broaches an uncomfortable conversation with Steve.
  • July 27: Episode 7
  • August 3: Episode 8
  • August 10: Episode 9
  • August 17: Episode 10
  • August 24: Episode 11

WATCH AND JUST LIKE THAT HERE

I wouldn’t exactly advise staying up to an ungodly hour just to see the latest episode. But we’re all adults here. That’s totally up to you, your sleep schedule, and your level of SATC obsession!

How long is each episode?

The run time for each episode is roughly 42 to 44 minutes. Not too long that it’ll give you butt cramps on the couch, but not too short that it’ll leave you hanging. Just right.

How many episodes will there be?

And Just Like That… was supposed to be a limited series, so originally it was just 10 episodes total. But it’s a good thing HBO decided to renew the series. It’s too much fun having this show back! This season will have 11 episodes instead of 10.

Is there going to be more after season 2?

HBO has yet to confirm whether a second season of And Just Like That… is coming. But it does seem like the women are having a lot of fun in this reboot, and season 2 really hits its stride. It’d be a bummer to give it up now.

Headshot of Jasmine Ting

Jasmine is a journalist struggling to adult by day… and pretty much the same at night. She is a summer child with a penchant for all things beachy, bright, and yellow, and thinks Timothée Chalamet is the most beautiful boy on this earth (pun intended).
