Sunderland – First Congregational Church of Sunderland, 91 S. Main St., Serendipity Shop is open on Saturdays, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with items for sale at bargain prices.

Christmas Bazaar
Chicopee -The Holy Mother of the Rosary Church will host their Annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 11. It will be held in the Parish Hall located at 26 Bell St. Chicopee from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Bazaar will feature gifts, crafts, jewelry, Chinese auction, lottery and gift card trees, games, raffles. We will be serving Polish and American food and baked items. On Saturday, Nov. 11 the church will honor our Veterans with a free lunch of a hamburg or a hot dog and drink as a thank you for their service. Free Admission and take-out is available. Frozen Polish food sale
Springfield – A frozen Polish food sale (perogi, golabki, kapusta), will be held at Immaculate Conception Church Hall 25 Parker St., in the Indian Orchard section on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All are welcome to come and purchase.
Holliday craft fair
Palmer – SS Peter & Paul Rosary Sodality of Divine Mercy Parish will hold its annual holiday craft fair on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the parish center, Main Street in the Three Rivers section. Free parking and admission. Featuring craft items by local artists and buy chances for their holiday lottery tree. Refreshments available for purchase. Proceeds from the fair help fund various parish projects.
Upcoming church events
Longmeadow – Celtic Worship will be presented at St. Andrew’s Episcopal, 335 Longemeadow St., 5 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 11, “Nature Sleeps, The Coming of the Dark” is the theme of this Celtic candlelight and communion service. This evening service will incorporate hymns, prayers, meditation, and music by the Springfield Kiltie Band. The Celtic services are held the 2nd Saturday of each month, from Oct. through March. They are open to the public with no admission fee.
A festive instrumental concert of holiday music: Sunday, Dec. 3, 3:00 p.m. Renaissonics, a Boston based instrumental chamber ensemble, will present a program titled “Carols for Dancing.” This concert will blend renaissance instruments with joyous music while exploring the rich traditions and unexpected stories of carols as festive dances. Fall into the Holidays
Holyoke – Our Lady of Guadalupe Community Center, 340 Chestnut St. which is celebrating it’s 15th year will hold a “Fall into the Holidays” craft fair on Sunday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Featuring a variety of vendors, handmade crafts, holiday decorations, raffle, 50/50 and door prizes. There will also be breakfast, lunch and desserts for sale. Done a canned or nonperishable item for a free raffle ticket. All doantions will be used for their Thanksgiving Food Distribution.
Sunday services
Agawam – Agawam Congregational Church, 745 Main St., invites the community to Sunday morning services at 10 a.m. On the first Sunday of every month communion is served with bread and grape juice or with individually packaged wafer and grape juice. Following all Sunday services, there is a Friendship gathering in the church hall. Coffee, tea, and water are served along with various goodies and packaged treats. Juice is, also, available, especially, for children in attendance. Children can, also, visit the “Mural Room” where many animals are painted floor to ceiling on an entire wall. Bus Trip to the Festival of Lights
Chicopee – The Basilica of St. Stanislaus in Chicopee is organizing a bus trip to the Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette in Attleboro on Saturday, Nov. 25. The price is $80 per person and includes bus transportation, driver’s gratuity, and a family style lunch at Wright’s Farm Restaurant in RI. While at the Shrine, there will be time to attend the Christmas Concert by Father Pat, Mass, Festival of 400,000 lights, and to visit the biblical display of the Christmas Alphabet, newly renovated International Creche Museum, Food Court/Cafeteria, gift shop, display of reconstruction of Galilee and Judea at the time of Jesus and much more. St. Nick’s Christmas Bazaar
Ludlow – St. Nick’s Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the St. Elizabeth Parish Pastoral Center, 201 Hubbard St. Parking and admission are free. Approximately 42 vendors will be selling stained glass, wood states, ornaments. Primitive décor and much more. Free attendance raffle, lottery ticket raffle and a giant vendor raffle. Stop by St. Nick’s Café for a light lunch at a nominal price.
Christmas dinner and concert
Monson – A Christmas dinner and concert featuring David Neill’s Fanfare Brass will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the First Church of Monson, 5 High St. The dinner will begin at 5 p.m. with the concert following at 7 p.m. The cost of the dinner and concert is $20, concert only $5 (available at the door). The menu consists of meat or vegetarian chili, cornbread, salad, and dessert. For reservations, call Gail at 413-267-4818. The deadline for reservations is Nov. 29. Proceeds will support the First Church music program as well as the Eva Farr Organ fund.
Crafters wanted for Holly Bazaar
Southwick – The Southwick Congregational Church, will be having their annual Holly Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. This is a call for crafters who are interested in being a part of this community event. Springfield – St. Catherine of Siena presents a bus trip to see the Boston Bruins take on the New Jersey Devils on MLK Jr. Day, Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. Tickets going quickly. Agawam – St. John the Evangelist Church, 833 Main St. will offer weekly adoration ceremonies on Wednesdays between noon and 5:30 p.m. The Holy Mass takes place at 6 p.m. Lawn signs are available for Agawam residents announcing the Year of the Eucharist.
