The duo got trapped inside and failing to escape out of the vehicle, were unfortunately burnt alive. Although, another cabin occupant inside the truck was rescued and is receiving treatment currently.

It is reported that the oil tanker was travelling on the wrong side of the highway before it hit the car. As both the vehicles were said to be running on high speeds, the collision was so impactful that the truck, which was carrying diesel, overturned and caught fire.

Efforts were made to douse off the fire using water tanks but it was too late as the Phantom had already been reduced to ashes.
Although there’s no confirmation on which exact variant of the Rolls-Royce Phantom was involved in the accident, it is, in general, a powerful car that comes with a 6.7-litre V12 engine. And like other luxury cars, the bespoke Phantom can be customised as per the customer’s preferences. Therefore, the exact price of the car isn’t known but in India, it is priced between Rs 9 crore to Rs 10.5 crore, ex-showroom.
