Royal Enfield recently launched its new Himalayan 450 in India, with prices starting at Rs 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom). New Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Engine
At its heart, the new Royal Enfield 450 is powered by a 450 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which generates a peak power of 40 hp and a max torque of 40 Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and gets an assist and slipper clutch as standard.

The new Himalayan 450 is lighter than its predecessor, with a kerb weight of 196 kg. Some key features of the motorcycle include a large TFT screen which supports Google Maps navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, full-LED lighting, ride-by-wire throttle and switchable ABS among others.
