While the details regarding the Guerrilla 450 remain scarce, it is likely that it will borrow the same 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that powers its adventure sibling, the Himalayan 450. However, we can expect potential tuning adjustments to suit its neo-retro roadster character. The model has already been spied testing on multiple locations in India. It is likely to feature conventional telescopic forks for front suspension, a monoshock unit at the rear, disc brakes on both wheels with dual-channel ABS, a minimalistic design and more.

Upon launch, this motorcycle will compete in the highly competitive mid-capacity segment, taking on rivals such as the Triumph Speed 400, Pulsar NS400 Z, KTM 390 Duke, and the upcoming Hero Xpulse 400, also slated for a launch sometime later this year.
Royal Enfield has yet to officially confirm the motorcycle, but the trademark filing and leaked logo point towards an imminent arrival. With a new name and likely a sportier attitude, the Guerrilla 450 is poised to be a feisty contender in the Indian motorcycle market.
