These cutting-edge refrigerators are equipped with Samsung’s advanced Artificial Intelligence-powered Inverter Compressor, promising unmatched energy efficiency and performance.
The AI Inverter Compressor, a key feature of Samsung’s new refrigerator range, signifies a significant advancement from its original compressor introduced 27 years ago. This eighth-generation compressor integrates artificial intelligence to optimize motor efficiency and energy consumption, thereby reducing electricity costs. Backed by a segment-leading 20-year warranty, the AI Inverter Compressor ensures lasting performance and energy efficiency.
The new AI refrigerators are available in three distinct models to cater to diverse consumer preferences. These models include the 809L 4-Door Flex French Door Bespoke Family Hub™ Refrigerator in Clean Charcoal + Stainless Steel color, and the 650L 4-Door Convertible French Door models offered in Clean White with a glass finish and Black Caviar with a steel finish.

Operating at noise levels of less than 35 dB/A during typical usage, the AI Inverter Compressor offers a quiet operation comparable to the tranquility of a serene library. Unlike conventional fixed-speed compressors, this advanced technology dynamically adjusts motor velocity based on factors such as ambient temperature and operational mode, optimizing cooling efficiency while minimizing energy usage.
The Samsung 809L Family Hub™ AI Refrigerator features an 80 cm FamilyHub™ Screen with the innovative “AI Vision Inside” feature, enabling users to manage food inventory effortlessly through internal cameras capable of identifying 33 food items, while AI technology offers recipe suggestions. The 650L Convertible French Door AI refrigerators come with integrated Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling users to remotely monitor and control the refrigerator’s settings.
Furthermore, Samsung has continuously researched, developed, and enhanced the manufacturing process of the internal motor, ball bearings, pistons, valves, and other components to enhance the energy efficiency and durability of the AI Inverter Compressor. The AI Inverter Compressor boasts an internal motor efficiency exceeding 95 percent and has increased energy efficiency by over 10 percent compared to its predecessor in the low-speed operation range of 950-1,450rpm, typical for refrigerators. Additionally, it has quadrupled the leveraged inertia during motor operation compared to conventional models.
