Sara Ali Khan made a very confident entry into the movies with Kedarnath and Simmba but post that none of her projects did wonders to her career with only Atrangi Re being the saving grace. The two films that she did in the interim were remakes; Coolie No. 1 with Varun Dhawan and Love Aaj Kal with Kartik Aaryan.
And give the the public responded to those films, the actress has decided to not say yes to the remakes.Talking about it in an interview with Deccan Chronicle when she was asked if she’d like to remake any of her mother Amrita Singh’s movies and she said that she has done two remakes till now and she’s learnt that some films shouldn’t be touched.
She added that she does look like her mother but if doesn’t act as well as her mother then the media will not let her get away with it and she doesn’t want that.The actress has found her mojo back with the success of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke with Vicky Kaushal and has an interesting slate of films lined up from Murder Mubarak with Karisma Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor. She’s also got Metro… In Dino opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor and Ae Watan Mere Watan with Karan Johar’s production house. She recently did a special appearance in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani with Ranveer Singh.
