Another knockout match also concluded with penalties. Canada and Venezuela ended their game tied 1-1 after extra time, calling for a shootout at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Canada emerged victorious in their penalty shootout, also securing their spot in the semifinals.

Copa America 2024 semifinals start Tuesday

Semifinals start Tuesday with Argentina, Canada, Colombia and Uruguay as the last teams standing. All teams have proven to endure. Colombia has gone undefeated in 27 straight international matches, Uruguay has defeated the vigorous Brazilian team, Canada has resisted while only scoring two goals through four games, and Argentina has the current title as Copa America Champions since 2021.
