Last week, two Texas cities hosted one match each in the intense quarterfinal stage.

Another knockout match also concluded with penalties. Canada and Venezuela ended their game tied 1-1 after extra time, calling for a shootout at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Canada emerged victorious in their penalty shootout, also securing their spot in the semifinals.
