Vivo is all set to launch its latest T-series smartphone in India. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that it will launch the Vivo T2 Pro 5G smartphone in the country on September 22.
Vivo has also started sending out media invites for the launch of the smartphone. “Get ready to experience the Performance Pioneer, the new vivo T2 Pro 5G, set to offer extreme performance with trendy aesthetics. Mark your calendars and stay tuned to witness the new vivo T2 Pro 5G on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 12 noon,” reads the invite.
Recently, Vivo teased the upcoming smartphone on X (formerly known as Twitter). The teaser shared by the company reveals that the Vivo T2 Pro 5G will sport a curved edge display. The smartphone will come with a punch-hole display which will house the selfie camera. The smartphone is also confirmed to be available online on Flipkart. The smartphone is tipped to be priced around Rs 24,000.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G likely specifications
A recent online leak has unveiled details about the forthcoming Vivo T2 Pro 5G, suggesting that it will be equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.
This yet-to-be-released smartphone is anticipated to be available in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. It is also expected to run on the Android 13 operating system, customized with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 13.
Rumors suggest that the Vivo T2 Pro 5G will be powered by a 4,600 mAh battery and support rapid charging at 66W.
Vivo V29e launched in India recently
Vivo recently introduced the V29e smartphone in the Indian market, targeting the mid-range segment. The Vivo V20e is available in two variants: one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage priced at Rs 26,999, and another with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage priced at Rs 28,999. Customers can choose between two striking color options: Artistic Red and Artistic Blue.
The Vivo V29e boasts a generous 6.78-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. This display is not only crisp but also offers a smooth experience with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, combined with 8GB of RAM to ensure smooth performance.
