This incident marks a recurring occurrence of EV fires in India, which has been a notable roadblock to a mass-scale EV adoption in the country. Over the past few years, there has been a series of such incidents, raising concerns about the safety of these vehicles among the potential buyers. Several factors have led to EV fires in different categories of electric vehicles across the country in the last two years.

The video shared by ANI shows the aftermath of the incident, revealing not only the destruction of the EVs but also significant damage to the surrounding area. The burnt frames of electric rickshaws stand as the sole components that can be seen while everything was engulfed in flames.
This is a developing story and more information is awaited on the matter while further investigation is underway. It will be updated as soon as there are more updates available.
