The teaser of the highly-awaited Vicky Kaushal’s period-drama ‘Chhaava’ is finally out. Meanwhile, the first glimpse from the teaser already created abuzz on the internet after it was screened with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’.
Now it seems ‘Stree’ aka Shraddha Kapoor, is captivated by the intense teaser and is eagerly anticipating the film’s release in theaters, though she can’t wait for the official release date!
Taking to her Instagram handle, Shraddha re-shared the teaser video and expressed her excitement about the movie.The Stree 2 actress wrote, “Ye Pichar toh pakka dekhni hai!!, ab release ke liye 6 December tak wait karvaoge”.
On Monday, the makers of Chhaava dropped the official teaser of the film. The highly-awaited period drama is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The teaser starts with Vicky’s voiceover saying, “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is called a lion and I am his son, the cub of a lion is called Chhaava.” It looks very powerful as the injured and blood-soaked Sambhaji (played by Vicky Kaushal) ununleashes fury on the enemy’s army.
At the end of the teaser, Akshaye Khanna’s portrayal of Aurangzeb is revealed as he declares, “Shivaji is gone, but his thoughts and vision remain alive.”
Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar. It also features Rashmika Mandanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Neil Bhoopalam and Santosh Juvekar in pivotal roles.
Chhaava is scheduled to be released on December 6.
