PUDUCHERRY: Mayank Agarwal and Sai Sudharsan gave brilliant performances as South Zone continued their unbeaten run with a comfortable five-wicket win over East Zone in a round-robin match of the Deodhar Trophy. Agarwal scored 84 runs, while Sudharsan scored 53 runs in a partnership of 118 runs for the second wicket. South Zone chased down the target of 230 runs in 44.2 overs with ease. N Jagadeesan and Rohit Rayudu also contributed to the chase. South Zone is currently at the top of the points table with four wins in four games, while East Zone is in second place with three wins in four matches.

South Zone’s bowlers also played a crucial role in the win, with V Koushik, Vidhwath Kaverappa, and Vijaykumar Vyshak taking six wickets collectively.
