Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged and retains its 649cc, parallel-twin engine, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. This mill generates 68.2 hp and 64 Nm of peak torque.
The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 650 retains its design cues from its predecessor and boasts of the same twin-pod LED headlights, coloured TFT instrument cluster, full-fairings, a muscular fuel tank, a step-up seat, and an underbelly exhaust. Talking about the paint options, it has the Lime Green colour on offer with Kawasaki Racing Team graphics.
Suspension duties are performed by a telescopic front fork and a mono-shock unit at the rear. Further, the motorcycle features 17-inch wheels, disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
Additionally, the motorcycle gets traction control, smartphone connectivity, redesigned windshield. Furthermore, the mid-range torque of the motorcycle has also been enhanced while maintaining the power of the outgoing model.
The outgoing model of the motorcycle was priced at Rs 7.12 lakh, ex-showroom. The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 650 rivals the likes of Honda CBR650R and CFMoto 650 GT in India.
