The film on Friday earned a mere Rs 2.25 crore, but on the back of good reviews and word of mouth, the film was able to earn as much as Rs 4 crore on its second day, as per early estimates by Sacnilk, with the jump in collection with more than 77%.
Rajkummar’s films usually don’t take massive openings, however it looks like things might change for the actor with this film. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 6.25 crore, and going by the buzz, the film is expected to earn more on Sunday than its Saturday collections. The film has already beaten a few Rajkummar films like Bheed, Hit: The First Case, and Badhaai Do as far as its opening-day collections are concerned.
This is a massive year for the actor, as he has three more releases lined up, with Mr. and Mrs. Mahi releasing by the end of May. He also returns to Stree 2 with Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee and at the end of the year, he also teams up with Triptii Dimri for Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
Srikanth is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and also features Jyothik, Alaya F., and Sharad Kelkar.
