While promoting the film, Rajkummar Rao faced allegations of going under the knife to enhance his facial features. Reacting to the same, the actor had told ETimes, “When I was starting out, a lot of people would comment on my looks and everything. So, 8-9 years back, my dermatologist told me that my face was slightly imbalanced, which is why I used very little filler on my chin, just to balance it out and I’m glad I did that because I definitely feel confident. I feel I look much better now than I was 10 years back and you can see that in my films. After that (procedure), I’ve done films like Shaadi Mein Zaroor Ana, Newton, Trapped etc . But plastic surgery, no, I’ve not done any kind of plastic surgery.”
Post ‘Srikanth’, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’, alongside Janhvi Kapoor. This sports drama is all set to hit the screens on May 31.
