“I was at Tamworth on the weekend — great vibe, met lots of Sunrise viewers — so hot the asphalt was melting, but it was so much fun,” Edwina excitedly told her co-stars.
Eddy was asked by Matt Shirvington to “describe the vibe,” of the festival.
“It was a great community event,” Eddy said.
“The kids with their parade, the SES (State Emergency Service) was there, people were line-dancing down the main street (it was brilliant).”
The Tamworth Country Music Festival is held from January 19 to 28 and the weekend’s events included a country music parade and the Golden Guitar Awards.
It comes just days after Eddy was praised for her honest Instagram post after “bouncing back” into shape after having her two children.
The popular presenter shared a selfie with her Instagram followers on Thursday, showing off her outfit of the day.
Edwina was wearing a tailored pale blue shirt and pinstriped tailored pants, smiling as she poses inside a lift.
“Anyone battling with the impossible standard of bouncing back after having a baby … I bought these pants in LA before I was pregnant with Molly,” she wrote.
“Today — they fit again.
“FIVE YEARS LATER.
“It takes time.
“Go easy on yourself.”
Her followers loved the post, thanking her for her honesty in a world where there was pressure to “drop the baby weight” quickly after giving birth.
“Eddy, I NEEDED to hear this!!! Thank you, thank you for keeping it oh so real!” one fan said.
“Yep, it takes time putting it on, so of course it takes time taking it off,” another wrote.
“Good on you for being patient and doing it healthily.”
“My boys are 17 and 20, I’m still working on it🫣🤭” joked a third.
Edwina’s youngest child, son Tom, was born in March 2022.
Her daughter, Molly, was born in December 2019.
