The footage featured Sushant Singh Rajput at the NASA centre, preparing for his dream project—a space film.The actor had undergone a workshop at NASA, and had he completed a few more weeks of training, he would have received a coveted ‘certificate of instructor.’
In an earlier interview, Sushant had expressed his aspirations, stating, “I am planning to go to Houston to complete the training. It consists of everything that you need to know about going to space, including sitting in the centrifuge.” The actor even shared his desire to potentially participate in NASA’s 2024 moon mission, emphasizing, “NASA plans to send astronauts to the moon by 2024. I am planning to prepare myself for it, in case I get lucky.”
On the occasion of SSR’s birth anniversary, his former girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty remembered him. Rhea took to her Instagram stories, sharing a picture of Sushant with a caption adorned with a red heart emoji.
Sushant’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, also paid tribute on Sunday. She posted a collage video featuring joyful moments of the ‘Kai Po Che’ actor, expressing, “Happy Birthday to My Sona Sa Bhai. Love you forever….infinity to the power infinity. Hope you live in a million hearts and motivate them to do and be good. May your legacy be the millions you have inspired to be God-like and generous.”
Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise in 2020 at his Bandra residence led to numerous controversies surrounding the nature of his death. Initially ruled as a suicide, the CBI was later involved in investigating the incident from various angles. The actor’s last appearance was in director Mukesh Chhabra‘s ‘Dil Bechara,’ opposite Sanjana Sanghi, serving as the official remake of the novel ‘The Fault in Our Stars.’
