Sydney fan dies after fall during Robbie Williams concert

A Robbie Williams fan has died after suffering a serious fall at his recent Sydney concert.

The woman, who was aged in her 70s, was rushed to St Vincent’s hospital after she fell down six rows of seats at Allianz Stadium in Moore Park on Thursday.

She was placed in an induced coma with serious head injuries.

St Vincent’s Hospital has confirmed to that the woman has died.

It is understood the woman lost her footing while attempting to climb over several rows of seats.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the woman at Allianz Stadium about 10.30pm on Thursday, November 16.

“Paramedics treated a woman in her 70s for head injuries before transporting her to St Vincent’s Hospital in a critical condition,” a spokesperson told

This death on Monday follows the death of a 23-year-old Taylor Swift fan at her Eras tour concert in Rio on Friday night.

“I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show,” Swift wrote on Instagram.

“There’s very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young.”

Concert organiser Time4Fun identified the fan as Ana Clara Benevides Machado.

“Last night, Ana Clara felt unwell and was promptly attended to by the team of firefighters and paramedics, being taken to the medical centre at the Nilton Santos Stadium for first aid protocol,” the organiser posted on Instagram.

“Given the situation, the medical team chose to transfer her to Salgado Filho Hospital, where, after almost an hour of emergency care, she unfortunately died.

“To the family and friends of Ana Clara Benevides Machado, our sincere condolences.”
