Tamannaah Bhatia, who has been creating waves with her dance performance in the song ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ for ‘Stree 2’, will soon share the screen with John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh in ‘Vedaa’. The makers have recently released the trailer of the film and it is getting an overwhelming response from the audience. Tamannaah also praised the film’s trailer and called it ‘more than just an action film’.
Tamannaah Bhatia took to her ‘X’ handle and shared the trailer of ‘Vedaa’.Along with the post, she wrote, “Don’t judge Vedaa by its cover – Trust me when I say, it’s more than just an action film! My friend @TheJohnAbraham , one of the nation’s favorite action heroes is bringing his incredible influence to a genre he’s totally mastered. This time, he’s telling a different kind of story through action, showing just how deeply this genre can convey meaningful cinematic experiences today. What’s even more exciting, personally to me, is that Nikhil Advani is returning to the director’s chair after 6 or 7 years, which adds yet another layer of anticipation to our film.”
She was all praises of Sharvari and the entire team of the film. She further added, “I can’t miss on mentioning #Sharvari here and how I just can’t wait for y’all to see her kill it on the big screen yet again! Although my contribution to the film is modest, I’m genuinely soo excited about its release and to have partnered with John, Nikhil sir, Sharvari, Abhishekh Banerjee, and the entire crew of Vedaa. Our film promises to bring a fresh perspective to action films in our country, and I feel everyone would lovee to experience this new story on the big screen❤️❤️❤️ For now, sharing this trailer with you all, but puri picture zarur dekhna 15 August ko!”
Vedaa’s makers recently disclosed that they are still waiting for the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to give their clearance. The movie’s director, Nikkhil Advani, talked about the same on his Instagram account on Thursday and pleaded with the authorities to end this ‘unusual delay.’ The statement read, “We, the producers of Vedaa feel compelled to share with our fans and supporters that despite our best efforts, we are still to secure a clearance and certification from the CBFC of India.”
‘Vedaa’, directed by Nikkhil Advani, is scheduled to release on Independence Day following approval from the Revising Committee of the Central Board of Film Certification. After viewing the movie, the committee gave it a UA rating, which allows it to be viewed by a wider audience.
Nikkhil expressed his joy and told ETimes, “I am so so thrilled with the way the Revising Committee appreciated the film and have chosen to certify it with a UA allowing the film to be viewed by the larger audience.
‘Vedaa’ is scheduled to hit the big screens on August 15, 2024. It will clash at the box office with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’.
