The Mahindra Scorpio-N is the only ladder-frame SUV in this comparison, and gets an optional four-wheel drive setup as well. On the other hand, its sibling XUV700 gets an optional all-wheel drive configuration on the diesel powertrain.

Pricing
The Mahindra Scorpio-N has the lowest starting price tag out of these SUVs at Rs 13.26 lakh, while the Tata Safari has the highest base price tag of Rs 16.19 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).
