Tata’s Stryder launches Galactic, India’s first magnesium bicycle: Gets dual disc brakes

Stryder Cycles, a subsidiary of Tata International, has launched the Contino range of bicycles. The new range includes eight new models with a variety of multi-speed options, including mountain bikes, fat bikes, BMX bikes, and high-performance city bikes.
One of the highlights of the new range is the Contino Galactic 27.5T, India’s first magnesium bicycle. Magnesium frames are lighter and stronger than traditional aluminum frames, making them ideal for off-road riding. They are also more vibration-dampening, which can help to improve comfort. The Galactic has been priced at Rs 27,896.
The Contino Galactic 27.5T is also equipped with a number of other features that include, dual disc brakes, front and rear derailleurs for smooth shifting, front suspension fork with lock-in/lock-out technology, 21 speeds for versatility on different terrain.

The Contino Galactic 27.5T is available now at Stryder Cycles retailers nationwide and can be purchased from the company’s website as well as e-commerce platform Amazon.
In a statement, Rahul Gupta, Business Head, Stryder Cycles, said, “These bicycles are designed to meet the needs of a wide range of cyclists, from beginners to experienced riders.”
The Contino range is available in a variety of colors and sizes with prices for the Nortec starting at Rs 19,526.
