Teenager charged over alleged daylight murder of Dejan ‘Danny’ Radulovic in Balmain

A teenager has been charged over the alleged murder of a man in Sydney’s inner west earlier this year.

Dejan “Danny” Radulovic was found suffering significant injuries to his head and torso on Donnelly St in Balmain on the afternoon of July 29.

The 29-year-old was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Police were told Radulovic was injured in an altercation with two men before they allegedly drove off in a white Jeep.

That vehicle was found burnt out in Five Dock a short time later with a firearm inside.

A post-mortem examination on Radulovic found he had suffered a gunshot wound.

Strike Force Dears was established to investigate the alleged murder.

Homicide squad detectives on Tuesday morning raided a home in Austral, where they arrested a 19-year-old man.

He was taken to Liverpool Police Station and later charged with murder.

During the search of the property, police seized clothing that will undergo forensic examination.

The 19-year-old was refused bail to appear before Liverpool Local Court on Tuesday.

Another man has been charged over Radulovic’s death.

He remains before the courts.

Investigations continue.
