Tesla’s Cybertruck set for electric chase: Dubai Police employs fleet of stunning EV for patrolling

Dubai’s roads are renowned for their high-end luxury cars, with even taxis featuring models like Teslas, and the police force boasting an array of exciting vehicles. Recently, the Dubai Police has further enhanced its impressive fleet with the addition of the futuristic Tesla Cybertruck.
Announcing this acquisition on their X handle, the Dubai Police wrote, “The Dubai Police General Command has added the Tesla Cybertruck, the modern electric car with a futuristic design, to its tourist police luxury patrol fleet.” The announcement was accompanied by images of the Cybertruck, decked out in the official green and white police colours, escorting Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.The Cybertruck served as the pilot vehicle, leading the way ahead of the Mercedes-AMG G63.

The images unveiled show the Cybertruck sporting a sleek green and white wrap, mirroring the traditional Dubai police cruisers. The vehicle also featured the Dubai Police logo on its hood and doors, adding a distinctive touch to its futuristic design. While the exact number of Cybertrucks to be deployed hasn’t been disclosed, their presence is set to elevate Dubai’s already formidable police fleet.

The Tesla Cybertruck is known for its impressive capabilities, including air suspension and three power options: a rear-wheel-drive single motor, a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version with a range of over 750 km, and a tri-motor variant that accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds with a range of over 700 km.
