The Batman Teaser Lights the Bat-Signal Ahead of the New Trailer’s Arrival

The Batman continues to build hype for the release of its next trailer as Robert Pattinson and a teaser put the Bat-Signal in the spotlight.

A teaser video for The Batman puts the Bat-Signal in the spotlight as fans countdown to the release of the DC film’s next trailer.

“It’s not just a signal; it’s a warning,” Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight can be heard saying as The Batman‘s Bat-Signal lights up a dark background. The teaser is in the familiar red color scheme as previous promos, with it’s last seconds reminding fans that a new The Batman trailer will debut during DC FanDome on Saturday, Oct. 16.

DC FanDome is a 24-hour virtual event for fans of DC Entertainment, encompassing comics, television and animated shows, movies, podcasts and more. Robert Pattinson has also teased a Catwoman surprise for fans who tune in. “Me and Zoë [Kravitz] did some stuff,” he said. “It’s a fun little thing and there are lots of little surprises for it.” Pattinson also confirmed that he has been able to watch completed scenes from the Matt Reeves-directed DC blockbuster. “I’ve seen some of the movie now and it’s kind of really cool,” Pattinson said. “It’s really cool.”

The runtime for The Batman’s DC FanDome trailer reportedly clocks in at two minutes and 36 seconds, which puts it 10 seconds longer than the trailer that debuted during last year’s DC FanDome.

Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman arrives in theaters March 4, 2022.
