Since the early days of TV, beloved shows have been defined by their theme tunes.
From such classics as Gilligan’s Island right up to more recent shows like Two and a Half Men, a show’s success often hinges on having a memorable ditty to open the show.

First seen on our screens in the 1960s, the theme for The Addams Family, complete with its catchy finger-clicking, is still instantly recognisable.
It was just one of many classic TV show tunes from that era including Gilligan’s Island, Get Smart, Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie.
Then 1970s brought classic TV themes and songs from the likes of The Brady Bunch, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley and The Love Boat.
While TV theme songs appeared to drop off as the 1980s went on, there were still a host of classics to hum along with including Full House, The Golden Girls, Baywatch and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
While these shows may be long gone from our screens (aside from the endless re-runs) the themes will always live on.
