The Teenage Cancer Trust is, once again, diligently raising money for unwell children this year, and continuing its legacy at The Royal Albert Hall.

The seven-day festival, from March 18 to March 24, will be held at The Royal Albert Hall once again this year, and a number of enormous artists and acts will be gracing the hallowed stage along the way.

First and foremost: The Who will be playing two nights of spectacular music with an accompanying orchestra.

There’s also an evening of comedy on the cards, with a no-doubt stellar line-up to be announced in the coming weeks.

Former Oasis star Noel Gallagher will be bringing his High Flying Birds to the Royal Albert Hall, as well, as well as The Chemical Brothers, too.

However, there is some sad news alongside this week’s exciting announcement.

Roger Daltrey, of The Who, has confirmed this will be his final year as the “driving force” of these annual concerts.

The Who singer has fundraised for the charity for nearly 25 years, and will still remain as a Teenage Cancer Trust Honorary Patron, but will take a more backseat role in the company from here on.

He’ll be going out with a bang, though, as he and the rest of The Who will be playing two shows across the week of events.

He said of the campaign: “The £32 million raised from these concerts has been the foundation for the 28 specialised units within the NHS, as well as specialist nurses and youth workers to be there for a young person when cancer has turned their world upside down.”

Tickets come out at the end of the week, and we’ve got all the details you need to get involved.
