Best Amazon Prime Day 2024 Korean Skin-Care Deals
Korean skin care has always been that girl. Whether you religiously double-cleanse or swear by hydrating, cast-free Korean sunscreens, there’s so much to thank K-beauty for. Amazon Prime Day—or anytime, if we’re being honest—is our favorite time to restock on our faves and discover a few new-to-us brands.
Cosrx
We’ll vouch for anything Cosrx any day, but we’re fist-pumping especially vigorously on Prime Day. Rejuvenate and remedy dryness with Cosrx’s Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, or reach for the ever-lightweight Two in One Poreless Power Liquid to decongest clogged pores. Then, top off your cart with the Niacinamine 15 Serum, which evens skin tone and fights potential breakouts.
Korean Sunscreens
Korean sunscreens are in a league of their own. Unfortunately, a lot of them can’t be sold on Amazon due to FDA regulations but there are a few special cases. Neogen’s Day-Light Protection Airy Sunscreen is an editor favorite for its light-as-air texture and quick-absorbing formula, as is Instree’s Onion Newpair Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++, which uses antioxidant-rich red onion extract (no onion smell though, don’t fret) to reduce inflammation and soften the appearance of scars. Innisfree’s Daily UV Defense Sunscreen won a 2023 Best of Beauty Award, and as you can probably tell, the formula pictured above is the mineral-based iteration—so if you’ve got sensitive skin or eyes, drop this into your cart ASAP.
Korean Moisturizers
At the root of Korean skin care is hydration, hydration, and more hydration. So when we find Korean moisturizers packed with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and squalane on sale, we’re stuffing our carts. The capsuled, high-density ceramides in the Aestura Atobarrier365 Cream are a perfect example, well suited to protect the skin barrier and keep moisture locked in. We also love the super gentle, dewy Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream, which is perfect for extra dry skin.
The satisfyingly sized Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream is your newest, most versatile body and face moisturizer. Never greasy, the plant-sourced, ceramide-stuffed formula goes on creamy and absorbs quickly, perfect for post-shower application. Fatty acids and cholesterol also help protect the skin barrier. Etude House’s Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream is another great pick for sensitive skin. It’s fragrance-free (like Illiyoon) and contains panthenol, which makes for peak moisture absorption, and the low-pH formula is reliably non-irritating.
Korean Toners and Essences
Heartleaf essence powers the Anua Heartleaf 77 Soothing Toner to intensely hydrate and balance the skin’s pH levels. The essence also evens skin tone and works wonders as a skin-loving layer below makeup. Then, there’s the I’m from Rice Toner, which illuminates and strengthens the moisture barrier using goami rice extract (sourced from Yeoju, South Korea). This extract contains hemicellulose, an anti-inflammatory that supports healthy skin microbiota growth.
We love Mixsoon’s Bean Essence for its never-harsh exfoliating properties that hydrate all the while. The non-sticky, fast-absorbing formula uses fermented beans to boost moisture and support the development of softer, more resilient skin.
Hopped on the milky skin care trend yet? If you don’t, worry not, because TirTir’s Milk Skin Toner Light does. The nutrient-rich, milk-like consistency is lightweight, goes on hydrating and stays hydrating. The resulting dewiness is your first step towards the ever-coveted glass skin look K-beauty clued us into a while back. It’s non-comedogenic and features a hearty, soothing blend of chamomile flower extract, panthenol, allantoin, and vitamin B. Mix up how you tone with Mediheal’s Collagen Ampoule Pads, which are drenched with collagen, ceramides, and milk protein—we guarantee your skin will lap it all up.
Korean Cleansers
We’re all about Anua’s Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil. This silky, lightweight formula removes makeup and excess sebum like a dream—a go-to first step in your double-cleansing routine. As always, the heartleaf extract is soothing, and despite the “oil” of it all, the formula is totally compatible with sensitive, acne-prone skin. Follow up with Torriden’s Dive-In Cleansing Foam Face Wash, which employs eight types of hyaluronic acid molecules for a deep dose of moisture. This combo makes for an ultra-hydrating, free-radical-neutralizing power couple.
Bundles make great gifts—and yes, a little treat for yourself counts. Saturday Skin’s Cleansing Bundle features the Melt + Cleanse Balm (which won a 2023 Best of Beauty Award) which powers through makeup, dirt, and oil, all while leaving skin feeling balanced and soft. Or, if you prefer an oil cleanser, use Haruharu’s Wonder Black Rice Moisture Cleansing Oil to kick makeup, dirt, and excess sebum to the curb. If you have acne-prone skin, Some by Mi’s cleanser uses a trifecta of AHA, BHA, and PHA to refine dead skin cells and impurities, while cica calms the skin.
Korean Serums
We love a face serum, and we love a Korean serum. Whether you’re looking to build out your collection or start from scratch, you can’t go wrong with the Torriden Dive In Low Molecular Acid Serum (which features five types of hyaluronic acid molecules to penetrate the skin at different levels!) and Anua Peach 70 Niacinamide Serum, both of which are lovely sources of non-oily hydration.
If you really want to shake up your skin-care routine, VT Cosmetics’ Cica Reedle Shot 100 is a buzzy product that boasts soothing cica, texture-improving niacinamide, and low-molecule hyaluronic acid for deep-penetrating hydration. You’ll feel a slight tingle but this is totally normal—to minimize irritation, cushion your skin with a toner before and moisturizer after.
