Fey and Poehler first met in the early 1990s while both were working in Chicago’s famed improv scene. The duo became “Saturday Night Live” royalty for their stint as co-hosts of the show’s “Weekend Update” segment and for their run during the 2008 election when Fey played Sarah Palin and Poehler portrayed Hillary Clinton.
Fey and Poehler both saw their fame hit rarefied heights after each starred in critically and commercially beloved sitcoms, “30 Rock” for Fey and “Parks and Recreation” for Poehler.
