The company has listed the new GX(O) on their website and has not announced the price of this new trim, however, we expect it to launch sometime in April 2024. The new variant will sit above GX trim and is expected to be priced from Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be offered in both 7 and 8-seater options and in terms of features it gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, dual-tone interior, automatic climate control, rear automatic blower control, dual-tone seats, soft-touch dashboard, LED front fog lamps, rear retractable sunshade (seven-seater only), 360-degree camera, and front parking sensors.
The Innova Hycross GX (O) petrol will be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine which puts out 173hp of power and 209Nm of torque. It comes paired only with a CVT automatic gearbox which sends power to front wheels. The Hycross is also offered with a 2.0-litre strong hybrid petrol engine which puts out a combined 184hp of power and comes paired with an e-Drive transmission.

Both engines of the Innova Hycross are front-wheel drive only and do not get a manual transmission option. Toyota claims a fuel efficiency figure of 23.24kpl for the hybrid and the regular petrol variants get a claimed fuel efficiency figure of 16.13kpl. The Toyota Innova Hycross does not have a direct rival, however, it competes with similarly priced three-row SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700 and Scorpio N, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus and the Tata Safari.
