Here, let’s quickly take a look at the models that the Chennai-based manufacturer will be launching in 2024.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650
Royal Enfield is expanding its flagship 650cc lineup with the launch of the Shotgun 650, which will join premium models like the Interceptor, Continental GT, and Continental GT.
The Shotgun 650 was first showcased at the Motoverse last month. The motorcycle is equipped with the same 649cc, air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox through a slip and assist clutch. The power figures might be tuned to suit the character of the motorcycle.

New 450cc Roadster
RE is likely to introduce a new roadster based on the Himalayan 450’s platform. The motorcycle has already been spied testing in India. The new roadster is expected to compete directly with the Triumph Speed 400 and will be powered by a 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC four-valve engine, delivering 40 hp and 40 Nm of torque.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber
The Chennai-based manufacturer is also working on a bobber-style motorcycle based on its 350cc J-platform, which is likely to be launched sometime later this year. The model has been spied testing multiple times – both, in a single seat and with a pillion seat configuration.
The test mule closely resembled the Classic 350 and it appeared to be the same model albeit in a Bobber styling with a few changes here and there. However, when the production model arrives, we can expect the bike maker to introduce more changes to make it look distinct from its stablemate. The Bobber 350 will likely retain the 349cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 20.2 hp and 27 Nm of torque, coupled with a 5-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield Scrambler 650
RE is actively testing its upcoming Scrambler 650, which will likely be based on the Interceptor 650cc but will boast features such as block-pattern tyres, increased ground clearance, and a longer wheelbase.
Key modifications include 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, upside-down front forks, and a distinctive two-into-one exhaust system. The bike is expected to feature full LED lighting, a ribbed-pattern seat, a single-pod instrument console, and taller handlebars for enhanced off-road capabilities. It is possible that the Scrambler 650 will be powered by the same 649cc parallel-twin engine as the Interceptor.
