Leaked documents hint at notable upgrades for the 2024 Bajaj Chetak, creating clearer distinctions between the Urbane and Premium models.
The electric scooter is poised to feature a larger 3.2 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of 127 km (IDC) on a single charge. This new unit will replace the existing 2.88 kWh battery, which currently provides a range of 113 km on a single charge. According to the leaks, the charging time for the new battery is expected to be 4 hours and 30 minutes for a full charge from 0-100 percent.

In terms of performance, the 2024 Bajaj Chetak is anticipated to achieve a higher top speed of 73 kmph, compared to the current model’s 63 kmph. One of the major updates includes the introduction of a new TFT screen, replacing the current round LCD unit.
This enhanced display is expected to offer features such as turn-by-turn navigation, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), remote lock/unlock, Bluetooth connectivity, and more. Additionally, the under-seat storage capacity is rumored to increase from the existing 18 liters to 21 liters.
