Varun Dhawan teams up with Shashank Khaitan for the third time |

After the success of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan are teaming up for the third time, for a new love story which has been titled #SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari. But unlike the first two times when Alia Bhatt was also part of the project, this time it is Janhvi Kapoor who will be part of the film.This will be Varun and Janhvi’s second project after Bawaal, and it also brings her back with Shashank who directed her in her first film Dhadak.

Sometime back, it was reported that the film is going to be part of the Dulhania series which Varun and Shashank created over the years, and Janhvi has stepped into Alia’s shoes as she is busy with other projects. But soon after, Karan Johar issued a statement on his Instagram account saying, “Every morning I wake up to news that is not an official confirmation by Dharma Productions… would request members of the media to please not conjecture about the continuance of a franchise or the beginning of one! We will give details when the time and plans are formulated and fructified! We are humbled by the excitement shown to our future films but would love to have accuracy instead of speculation… Respectfully, Karan Johar.”
The Varun- Janhvi- Shashank film is slated to release on April 18th, 2025, and will have music by Pritam and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
