Watch: Virat Kohli’s monstrous six hits Chinnaswamy roof; Faf du Plessis’s reaction… | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Displaying remarkable hand-eye coordination and impeccable timing, Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Virat Kohli fired a cracking six that hit the roof of the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday in the do-or-die clash against Chennai Super Kings.
Taking CSK pacer Tushar Deshpande to the sword, the Kohli hit made the sweet sound as the ball connected with the bat before smacking the tin roof and falling back into the stands.
The incident took place on the first ball of the third over when Tushar bowled a back of a length and angled into Kohli. The RCB opener swivelled across, picked the length early and then pulled it high over long-leg.
As the ball smacked the roof, Kohli’s partner Faf du Plessis at the non-striker’s looked mighty impressed with the hit.

RCB’s fairytale resurgent run is up against the might of five-time champions CSK as the two sides lock horns in an epic knockout match.
Boasting of a better net run-rate and more points, defending champions CSK (14 points, NRR 0.528) are favourites in the game. RCB has 12 points and a net run-rate of 0.387 and need to win the game by a decent margin to qualify for the playoffs.
A washout will take CSK through to the playoffs, while RCB will need to win by at least 18 runs or chase the target with about 11 balls to spare.
