DSP recalled a late-night phone call from Salman Khan after the release of the song ‘Saami Saami’ from the movie Pushpa: The Rise. During the call, Salman Khan, without uttering a word, began singing the song demonstrating his genuine appreciation for DSP’s work.
Salman and DSP’s relationship goes back to the film Ready when they created the song “Dhinka Chika” in 2011. Since then they have also created “Naacho Re” in Jai Ho, “Seeti Maar” in Radhe, and a song in Salman Khan’s most recent film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Salman recently released the first song “Leke Prabhu Ka Naam” from his upcoming film Tiger 3, the song is his first collaboration with singer Arijit Singh. Both of them had a fallout many years ago due to a misunderstanding at an award function.
