If you have been in the market for a new gaming console, an Xbox model may just be your best starting point as prices continue to drop with UK retailers. That includes Very, who’re offering a much cheaper way to buy the Series X.
Amazon and eBay are just two popular gaming sites that have cut the prices of popular consoles in the recent Easter sales, including the rival (and transportable) Nintendo Switch. Now, it’s the Xbox Series X you’ll want to take a look at as it drops to £499 – for the console and two controllers.
Yes, exactly that. Xbox sells the X model (along with one controller) on its site for £479.99 but the newest deal will get you the speedy set and two controllers for £499 total – so, you’ll pick up the extra accessory for just £20.
It’s a deal currently soaring in Very’s online sale, as it drops the price for the set from £524 to £499, more than 88 people have viewed it in the past 48-hours. The only catch is, there’s no set time as when this deal will be around until, so you’ll want to be quick.
Avid Xbox fans may question the deal at first, we too had to think why there was such demand over the set when you can get the Series X at Amazon for £409.99, and if you wanted an extra controller it’d still be cheaper to add it on separately. It all comes down to colours.
Most unmissable price drops on the Xbox model can be found on your standard black or white colours. Only, it’s very rare you find an eye-watering price drop which includes more vibrant options; hot pink, electric blue, green, and red, its lilac purple was an option too but has since sold out.
The Xbox Series X can be played in full native 4K display, has a UHD Blu-ray disc player and has 1TB of storage. Slightly different to the disc-free gaming Xbox Series S console.
Matching Xbox’s own price, Currys is also selling the Xbox Series X, with one controller, for £479.99 or you could pick this console, two controllers, and docking station for £539.
