According to a report by GizmoChina a Xiaomi tablet with model number 24018RPACC (Chinese version) has been listed on China’s 3C regulatory certification site. The report also claims that a Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro with model number 24018RPACG (Global version) has also appeared on Singapore’s IMDA certification platform.
This indicates that Xiaomi’s next-gen tablet is expected to launch in China in February. However, detailed specifications or pricing information are not official yet. A few key details about the Pad 7 Pro have also been revealed.
Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro: What to expect
A tipster named Digital Chat Station has shared some details about the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro on Chinese social media platform Weibo. The upcoming tablet is expected to sport a larger 12.45-inch LCD screen that may support a 16:10 aspect ratio and an 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the tablet is likely to come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and support 120W wired fast charging.
Apart from this the Pad 7 Pro is also rumoured to house a 50MP dual rear camera setup, dual-core batteries, a quad-speaker system, and an enhanced multi-device system. The tablet is also expected to offer an improved interconnected experience with other Xiaomi devices and may run on an Android 14-based HyperOS system.
The report also claims that Xiaomi may launch a Pad 7 Max tablet in the lineup that may boast an OLED screen and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This model is expected to be launched alongside the Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone in April.
